Skiing Aspen Colorado stood out when you look back on the Northern Hemisphere winter just gone. It was not a great season across much of the United States.
Low snowfall, inconsistent conditions, and dry spells impacted many of the major resorts. Utah, in particular, had an unusually lean year.
And yet, right in the middle of it all, Aspen Colorado delivered.
While others struggled, Aspen Colorado produced not just good skiing, but at times genuinely excellent conditions. Easily the best in Colorado for the 2026 season.

Aspen Colorado Delivered When It Mattered
There is always an element of luck with snow seasons. But there is also something more.
Aspen Snowmass has four mountains, varied aspects, and a huge range of terrain. That diversity matters when conditions are not ideal. It allows the resort to hold snow better, manage grooming more effectively, and consistently provide quality skiing across the mountain.
Even during drier periods, we found soft, grippy snow, well maintained runs, and enough variation to keep every day interesting. That consistency is what sets skiing Aspen Colorado apart when other resorts are struggling.
That is the difference. When the season is average, Aspen Colorado still feels premium. It is why skiing Aspen Colorado continues to deliver year after year.
Two Ski Aspen Tours, Two Outstanding Experiences
This year we ran two Ski Aspen tours:
February 7 to February 22, 2026
February 22 to March 9, 2026
Both tours were incredibly successful, not just because of the skiing, but because of the overall experience.
We had a fantastic mix of returning guests and new faces. The energy across both trips was strong from day one. People settled in quickly, connected easily, and made the most of every opportunity both on and off the snow.

That combination of great people and a reliable mountain is what makes skiing Aspen Snowmass such a consistent winner year after year, and a big reason why skiing Aspen Colorado remains so popular with our guests.
Women’s Edge Programs: A Clear Highlight
For many of our female guests, the Women’s Edge program was a standout.
This four day program, led by elite, PSIA certified female instructors, continues to deliver real results. It is not just about improving technique. It is about building confidence, creating connection, and skiing with intent.
We saw noticeable improvements across the board. Better balance. Stronger turns. More confidence on steeper terrain.
Just as importantly, we saw groups of women supporting each other, pushing each other, and genuinely enjoying the process.
It is no surprise this program remains a favourite and a key part of the skiing Aspen Colorado experience.
CARV Ski Improvement Programs: Next Level Progress
Across both tours, we also ran multiple CARV ski improvement programs, led by two outstanding coaches:
Both Tomas and Jiri bring decades of high level experience to their coaching. Their technical understanding of skiing, combined with their ability to communicate clearly and simply, is what sets them apart.
Using CARV technology, guests were able to receive real time data on their skiing. Edge angles, pressure distribution, balance, and timing were no longer guesswork. They were measurable.
But what made the difference was how Tomas and Jiri translated that data into practical, on snow changes.
The results were impressive.
Guests became more aware of how they were skiing. They made quicker adjustments. They built better habits.
And most importantly, they skied better.
These were not one off improvements. They were meaningful gains that will carry forward into future seasons.
Aspen Colorado – More Than Just Skiing
Of course, skiing Aspen Colorado is not just about what happens on the mountain.
Some of the best moments happen off it.
Throughout both tours, we made the most of everything Aspen has to offer.
We enjoyed live music sessions at the Limelight Hotel Aspen, relaxed and soaked in the atmosphere during several jazz evenings at The Jas Cafe, and took in live performances at the Wheeler Opera House.
These nights added another layer to the experience. They gave people time to unwind, connect, and enjoy Aspen beyond skiing.
The Gant: Our Home in Aspen
Back at The Gant, the atmosphere was just as memorable.
Condo living creates a different dynamic. People come together more naturally. Meals are shared. Stories are told. Friendships are formed.
We had group dinners, relaxed nights in, and plenty of laughs along the way.
And then there were the pool and spa sessions.
There is something about sitting in a hot spa after a full day on the mountain, surrounded by snow, that never gets old. It became a nightly ritual for many, and a highlight in its own right.

Why Skiing Aspen Colorado Continues to Stand Out
This season reinforced something we have known for a long time.
Skiing Aspen Colorado is not just about chasing the best snow year. It is about choosing a destination that delivers consistently, regardless of the season.
When conditions are average elsewhere, Aspen still performs.
When you combine that with:
- Four mountains on one lift ticket
- World class grooming and terrain variety
- Elite ski improvement programs
- A vibrant town with incredible dining and culture
- A strong, connected group experience
You get something far more valuable than just a ski trip.

You get a complete experience.
Looking Ahead
After two highly successful tours, strong guest feedback, and another season where Aspen Colorado proved its resilience, we are already looking ahead.
The appetite is there. The demand is growing. And the experience continues to evolve.
If this season showed anything, it is this.
Even in a tough year, skiing Aspen Colorado stands tall.
