Snowmass trail map

Snowmass is the biggest of the four Aspen Snowmass mountains and offers an incredible amount of variety across its vast terrain. With over 3,300 acres to explore, it’s a paradise for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Long, wide-open groomers, perfectly spaced glades, expert steeps, terrain parks, and an impressive vertical drop mean you can find your flow whether you’re carving cruisers or chasing powder. It’s a mountain that’s just as fun for a full-day mission as it is for a casual few laps, and with so much space, it rarely feels crowded.

The resort village at the base of Snowmass has everything you need for a full ski holiday without ever having to leave the mountain. There’s ski-in ski-out accommodation, a gondola-connected base area, family-friendly après options, and plenty of dining and shopping to keep things interesting off the slopes. Snowmass also has a great reputation for being one of the most family-friendly mountains in North America, with a world-class ski school, kids’ activities, and a welcoming, laid-back vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can go hard or take it slow – and either way, it delivers.
