SKI ASPEN 2027 – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
All guests must hold a valid passport with a minimum of six months validity beyond their intended return date. Some travellers may require a visa to enter the United States of America or to re-enter Australia. It is the responsibility of each guest to verify their visa requirements prior to booking. Failure to obtain the appropriate documentation may result in denied entry to the United States, for which Ski Aspen accepts no responsibility.
For travel to or through the United States, all guests must register with the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) under the Visa Waiver Program. This is a mandatory requirement and includes a processing fee payable at the time of application. Please visit https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov for further information and to apply.
2. HEALTH AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
All guests must be in good physical and mental health to participate in this tour. You are required to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or injuries that may impact your ability to take part.
Skiing and snowboarding are inherently high-risk activities. While Ski Aspen takes all reasonable steps to support your safety, we cannot accept liability for injuries, illness, accidents, or medical emergencies that may occur during your holiday.
If you are unsure about your suitability for this type of activity, you should seek professional medical advice prior to travel.
3. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include cover for skiing and snowboarding.
We recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit to ensure you are protected against unforeseen events, including cancellation due to injury or medical conditions.
It is your responsibility to ensure your policy provides adequate and appropriate coverage.
4a. TOUR INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS (ASPEN)
The advertised price covers land content only for your Ski Aspen Tour. This includes accommodation, listed transfers within Aspen, lift tickets, and scheduled activities as detailed on the relevant tour pages of the Ski Aspen website.
The tour price does not include:
International or domestic airfares
Passport or visa costs
Airport taxes and airline-imposed charges
Excess baggage fees
Travel insurance
Meals, unless otherwise specified
Equipment hire unless requested and included in your selected package
Entertainment, activities not listed in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and personal expenses
Guests are solely responsible for their own baggage at all times during the tour. Ski Aspen accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
4b. TOUR INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS (LAKE TAHOE)
The advertised price covers land content only for your Ski Lake Tahoe Tour. This includes accommodation, listed transfers within the Lake Tahoe area (where applicable), and scheduled activities as outlined on the Ski Aspen website.
The tour price does not include:
International or domestic airfares
Passport or visa costs
Airport taxes and airline-imposed charges
Excess baggage fees
Travel insurance
Meals, unless otherwise specified
Lift tickets unless requested and included in your selected package
Equipment hire unless requested and included in your selected package
Entertainment, activities not listed in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and personal expenses
Guests are solely responsible for their own baggage at all times during the tour. Ski Aspen accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
5a. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
To secure your place on a Ski Aspen 2027 Tour, a deposit is required as follows:
USD $2,000 for a 15-night tour when booking directly or via a method separate from the Ski Aspen website online booking process
AUD $3,000 plus applicable credit card fees (1.5%) when booking via the Ski Aspen website
All bookings are subject to availability. If your preferred tour is unavailable, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Ski Aspen reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.
The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days prior to the published tour start date. Failure to pay by this date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
To secure your place on a Lake Tahoe 2027 Tour, a deposit is required as follows:
USD $1,000 for any 7, 10 or 16-night tour when booking directly or via a method separate from the Ski Aspen website online booking process
AUD $2,000 plus applicable credit card fees (1.5%) when booking via the Ski Aspen website
All bookings are subject to availability. If your preferred tour is unavailable, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Ski Aspen reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion and without obligation to provide a reason.
The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days prior to the published tour start date. Failure to pay by this date may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.
5b. CREDIT CARD FEES
Ski Aspen includes a 1.5% credit card fee within your deposit payment for all bookings made via the Ski Aspen website. This equates to AUD $45 on a $3,000 Ski Aspen Tour deposit and AUD $30 on a $2,000 Lake Tahoe Tour deposit.
This fee applies to the deposit only and does not apply to your remaining balance payable to Ski Aspen.
Payments made via direct bank transfer do not incur any fees. Please contact us if you would prefer to pay via this method.
6. AIRFARES AND FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS
Ski Aspen operates as a land-based tour provider and is not a registered travel agency. We do not arrange or sell flights.
Guests are responsible for arranging their own flights through a licensed travel agent or reputable booking platform.
Ski Aspen accepts no responsibility for disruptions to travel plans due to flight cancellations, delays, missed connections, industrial action, weather events, pandemics, or other circumstances outside our control.
Any additional costs incurred as a result of such disruptions remain the responsibility of the traveller.
7. AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee. All amendment requests must be submitted in writing.
Ski Aspen does not offer refunds for unused services, including lift passes, activities, or accommodation, regardless of the reason.
In the event of cancellation:
Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the start of the tour will incur a minimum cancellation fee of USD $1,000 or AUD $1,500, depending on the currency used for your deposit.
Cancellations within 90 days of departure may incur charges up to the full value of the tour, based on supplier terms.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed in the original payment currency and method. Any associated currency conversion costs are the responsibility of the guest.
8. PRICE FLUCTUATIONS AND PAYMENT CURRENCY
If booking via the Ski Aspen website in Australian dollars, your final tour price may change due to fluctuations in the AUD/USD exchange rate. You will be advised of the applicable rate prior to final payment.
If you choose to pay in United States dollars via Forex Worldwide or another international payment platform, your USD price will remain fixed.
9. ARRIVAL IN ASPEN AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Guests are responsible for arriving in Aspen on or before the advertised tour commencement date.
Ski Aspen does not cover any additional costs resulting from delayed or cancelled flights, missed connections, or other travel disruptions.
We are not liable for any accommodation, transport, or personal expenses incurred due to late arrival or early departure.
10. ARRIVAL IN LAKE TAHOE AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Guests are responsible for arriving at the nominated accommodation for their Lake Tahoe Tour on or before the advertised commencement date.
Ski Aspen does not cover any additional costs resulting from delayed or cancelled flights, missed connections, or other travel disruptions.
We are not liable for any accommodation, transport, or personal expenses incurred due to late arrival or early departure.
11. CODE OF CONDUCT AND PARTICIPATION
Guests are expected to behave in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the tour.
Ski Aspen reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful, without entitlement to a refund.
All guests must follow the instructions of Ski Aspen staff at all times. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from activities or from the remainder of the tour.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ski Aspen, its employees, representatives, and contractors are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or additional expense incurred in connection with participation in any Ski Aspen or Lake Tahoe Tour.
Participation is undertaken at your own risk. Guests are responsible for taking appropriate precautions to protect their health, safety, and personal belongings.
13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By paying your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
These terms may be updated from time to time. It is your responsibility to review the most current version prior to booking.
