Aspen Snowmass

Who is Ski Aspen?
Ski Aspen is an Australian based ski tour operator that specialises in Aspen Snowmass ski holidays. Founded in 1995, we’ve now been in business for almost 30 years.

What style of accommodation can I expect?
We provide deluxe rated accommodation (condo/units) across all our ski tour and ski club style packages. We can provide luxury accommodation packages upon request. All our units feature spacious living rooms, fully equipped kitchens and open fireplace. Cable TV and regular housekeeping services are also included. Most of our units are 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and the advertised package price is based on twin share. A single accommodation supplement is available upon request.

How do I go about arranging my flights?
While we don’t organise your flights, we can assist you with any questions you might have in relation to getting to Aspen, internal connections and the like.

Can I hire skis and other equipment in Aspen?
Yes, skis and other hire equipment are readily available at a variety of outlets and shops in Aspen. We take time to assist and advise all guests that need to hire skis and other personal equipment and we work with a number of retail outlets that offer our guests special discounts.

I’m a single traveller, do your cater for me?
Of course. Our Aspen tour and club packages cater equally for singles, couples and families. Accommodation is generally provided on a twin share basis however single supplements are available.

How many guests are usually on each tour?
On average we’ll have around 20-25 guests on each tour.

Do I need insurance and what type of cover should I get?
All people joining a Ski Aspen holiday are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance. Most travel insurance policies cover skiing but we’ll happily suggest a suitable policy should you require assistance.

How cold does it get in Aspen?
A typical ski day during January / February in Aspen will be in the minus 5 to minus 10 degrees celsius range. That said, we experience a very ‘dry’ cold in Colorado and at this temperature, the ski days are very comfortable and usually sunny. Some days are known to reach the minus 18 to minus 20 mark but these are very infrequent and we usually experience only one day like this each tour.
